    What has been said?

Oleksandr Usyk has declared “size doesn’t matter” ahead of his “special” undisputed heavyweight title fight against Tyson Fury.

Usyk and Fury will face off in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, 18, live on TNT Sports Box Office.

It will be Usyk’s sixth professional fight at heavyweight level having spent most of his career as a cruiserweight.

Fury, who has always been a heavyweight, has said “size really matters” and “when the cruiserweights step up to the big boys, usually they get found wanting”.

But that is not an assessment that Usyk agrees with as he aims to take down Fury.

“Size doesn’t matter,” the Ukrainian told TNT Sports. “If it did then the king of animals would be the elephant. I am a heavyweight.”

“For me it’s very important because I prepare for this fight for 22 years,” said Usyk.

“It’s important for me, for my family, for my country. It’s a big event for Ukraine.

“It’s a special fight. Four belts, two guys who don’t have a loss. It’s special. I can’t wait.
